A fabulous evening of fun, fashion and flesh
September 5th once again saw stars of stage and screen descended on London’s legendary Cafe de Paris for a bold fundraising event, West End Bares 2011, which saw some of the West End’s hottest performers get their kit off for The Make A Difference Trust.
Hosted by TV’s top fashion guru, Gok Wan – famous for his expert styling in dressing ordinary people up as well as making them look good naked – the event involved around 80 of theatreland’s finest performers and technicians. The unique production combined the naughtiness of burlesque with the razzle dazzle of the West End and was billed “a night of fun, flesh and fashion”. A packed crowd turned out for two shows and a fabulous after party and has already raised in excess of £42,000 from the event.
This annual extravaganza was co-hosted by TV and stage star; Sheridan Smith and an array of other celebrity guests rallied to offer their support, including Paul O’Grady, Matt Evers and Chloe Madeley.
